Privacy notice for Corvana Renovation
This privacy notice covers corvanarenovation.ae and the Corvana service sites linked from it. Corvana is operated by WebsiteOS LLC, a company licensed in the Sharjah Media City Free Zone (Shams), licence 2646567.01. WebsiteOS LLC decides what happens to the details you send us and answers for them. It runs a contractor-matching service that is free for homeowners: you tell us about a renovation, and we put it to licensed contractors who quote for it.
What do we collect, and why?
Your name, your phone or WhatsApp number, your email if you give it, and what you tell us about the job: the property type, the community, the size, the rooms and what you want changed. We use them for one purpose, which is to write a brief and get you quotes from licensed contractors, and to follow up on that request. We do not ask for your Emirates ID, passport or salary, and nothing on our forms needs them.
Who receives your details?
Only the licensed contractors we ask to quote on your job, up to three of them, chosen because they already work in your emirate and your community. They receive what they need to quote: your name, your number and the brief. No one else receives your details from us for their own purposes; the services that store and carry them are set out below. No contractor can pay to see them, and a contractor who quotes and is not chosen owes us nothing. If you sign with one of them, the contract is between you and that contractor; the contractor pays us when a job we introduced closes, and nothing is added to your price.
- We send your details to a contractor only for the job you asked about.
- We do not pass your details to other businesses for their own marketing.
- We do not publish anything that identifies you.
How long we keep it
If your enquiry does not lead to a job, we keep it for 12 months, so that a follow-up question or a second quote can pick up where you left off, and then delete it. If you sign with a contractor we introduced, we keep the record of that introduction for the length of your contract with them plus five years, because it is the basis on which the contractor pays us. You can ask us to delete an enquiry earlier at any time, as the next section explains.
How do you have your details deleted?
Reply on the same WhatsApp thread and say you want your details deleted, or call us on 050 610 1186, or send the request through the form at the bottom of this page. We delete your enquiry and ask any contractor who received your brief to delete it too. The same routes work if you want to know what we hold about you, or to correct something. There is no charge, and you do not need to give a reason.
Where is the data stored?
Our database runs on servers in Frankfurt, Germany, in the European Union, and its backups are kept in the EU as well. Messages you send us on WhatsApp also pass through WhatsApp itself, which Meta operates under its own terms; the WhatsApp business account belongs to WebsiteOS LLC, so that name may appear on the thread instead of Corvana.
Is your data sold or used for marketing?
No. We do not sell contact details, rent them or add them to lists. The only messages you receive from us are about the job you asked about, and if you tell us to stop, we stop. The UAE's personal data protection law, Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021, gives you the right to object to your data being used for direct marketing, and we treat any such request as final.
Changes to this privacy notice
When our practice changes, this notice changes with it and the date at the top moves. The version you are reading is dated 25 September 2026. Your details, answered
- Do you share my number with more than three contractors?
- No. Your brief goes to up to three licensed contractors who work in your emirate and community, and only for the job you asked about. If none of them suits you, tell us, and we will not send your details anywhere else without asking you first.
- Can I ask what you hold about me?
- Yes. Ask on the same WhatsApp thread, by phone or through the form, and we will tell you what we hold: usually your name, number, email if given, and the details of your job and which contractors received the brief.
- Do contractors pay for my details?
- No. Contractors pay nothing to receive a brief, and no contractor can buy a place in front of you. A contractor pays us only when a job we introduced closes, and that payment never appears on your price.
- What if I only want to read the prices?
- Then you do not need to give us anything. The price guides, the cost index and every guide on this site are open to read without a form or a sign-up. Your details come into it only when you ask us for quotes.
- Who is responsible for my data?
- WebsiteOS LLC, which operates Corvana under licence 2646567.01 from the Sharjah Media City Free Zone (Shams). A contractor you sign with is responsible for what it does with your details under your contract with it.
