Corvana is operated by WebsiteOS LLC, a company licensed in the Sharjah Media City Free Zone (Shams), licence 2646567.01. Corvana Renovation matches homeowners with renovation contractors: we publish what the work costs across the UAE, write your brief and put it to licensed contractors who quote against those numbers. The footer of every page on our sites names the operator too.

How does matching work?

It takes five steps, and you can stop after any of them.

1. You send the job on WhatsApp or through the form: villa or apartment, the community, which rooms, and what you want changed.
2. We check it against the published band for that kind of work and ask for anything missing, usually the size in square feet and the number of bathrooms.
3. We write one brief and put it to up to three licensed contractors who work in your emirate and your community.
4. Each contractor quotes in writing: a rate, the area it applies to and a finish specification.
5. You compare the quotes and sign directly with the contractor you choose, or with no one.

What does it cost the homeowner?

Nothing. There is no fee for the brief, the quotes or the comparison, and no obligation to go ahead. The contractor pays us when a job we introduced closes. You sign at the contractor's own price with nothing added by us, and if a quote ever carries a charge for our introduction, tell us and we take it up with the contractor.

Contractors pay nothing to receive a brief either. No contractor can buy a place in front of you, and one that quotes and loses owes us nothing.

How we collect and date the prices

Publishing the bands is the point of the service. A quote only means something next to a number you did not get from the person quoting, and the bands give you that number before anyone visits the house.

Every price on our sites is a figure a UAE company publishes about its own work. We read it on that company's own page, record the address and the date, and quote it as published, without averaging or rounding. The set in use now was read on 18 September 2026, which is why the tables say September 2026. When a company changes its figure, the new one goes in with its own date.

Some figures stay out on purpose:

• Forum posts and social media threads, however specific. They describe one person's bill, not a company's price.
• Figures far outside every other source, such as one bathroom price at about a fifth of what everyone else publishes.
• Worked examples that do not add up, such as a design fee larger than most complete fit-outs.
• Any price we could not read at its own address on the day.

Where one company contradicts itself on the same page, we record both numbers and say so. The bands for all five lines, with the count of companies behind each one, are in the renovation cost index.

How are contractors chosen?

By the licence that applies where you live, first. Each emirate licenses contractors in its own way, and a firm cleared in one is not automatically cleared in the next.

• Dubai. A trade licence plus a place on Dubai Municipality's register of contractors. Building Contracting is the graded activity, and Grade Four covers a two-storey villa. Even work that needs no permit, such as painting, must use a Municipality-accredited contractor.
• Abu Dhabi. The Department of Municipalities and Transport grades contractors from Special down to Sixth, and only a contractor registered in its classification system can request a building maintenance permit.
• Sharjah. The Municipality classifies contractors and the Sharjah Department of Economic Development licenses them. An open violation on a contractor's licence blocks its permit applications, and the Municipality publishes a violations lookup.
• Ajman. The Municipality grades contractors and consultants into categories, and moving up a category is its own service, AED 200 and 2 days, though the categories themselves are not published. Some Municipality services also ask for a contractor's licence issued in Ajman itself.

After the licence we look for two things: the contractor already works in your community, and they will put a rate, an area and a finish specification in writing. A contractor who will only give a single number does not receive the brief.

What we will not do

• Add anything to a contractor's price, or take a payment from you.
• Sell your number, or pass it to anyone who is not quoting your job.
• Present a company's published price as our own. Every band on our sites is labelled as published and carries the date it was read.
• Tell you a job needs no permit without naming the rule that exempts it.
